About the tomb
It is located on the western part of the hill of Panagitsa and is accessible through a dirt road, which starts from the southwestern end of the Mycenae parking lot, in front of the current entrance of the archeological site, descends towards the tomb and passes through the eastern side of it. This is one of the oldest tombs and is contemporary with the ones of Aegisthus and the Cyclops (1600-1400 BC).
The entrance is narrow in comparison to the other tombs (1.5-2 meters). The chamber has a diameter of about 12 meters and is built of irregular stones, cemented with small wedges and mud, a sample of the older architecture of the Mycenaean walls.
